Developing a growth mindset is important because it makes us open to change and new environments and enables us to embrace challenges in a fight or flight situation.

In order to develop growth mindset there are some of AMAL TOTKAYS:

Self Talk

“Watch what you tell yourself, you’re likely to believe it.”

Think of self-talk as your inner voice. While you may not have focused on it before, you’ve practiced self-talk throughout your entire life. It’s the running commentary always going on in the background, and it influences how you see yourself and the world around you. We often forget that our inner voice can also help empower us. Personal mantras can help us focus and motivate ourselves when a situation gets tough.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Change begins at the end of your comfort zone.

A lot of the anxiety that comes from leaving your comfort zone is due to uncomfortable levels of uncertainty. … The more afraid we are, the smaller our comfort zone becomes and the more difficult it is to break out of it. Familiarity is comfortable and enjoyable, so it’s no real surprise that new things get our guard up.

Create New Habits

Drop by drop is the water pot filled.

Not only are habits important. They grow stronger and stronger over time and become more and more automatic. So make sure you have the right ones! Habits are so powerful because they create neurological cravings: A certain behavior is rewarded by the release of “pleasure” chemicals in the brain.

Ask For People’s Help

One of the biggest defects in life is the inability to ask for help.

Remind yourself that asking for help means you’re strong enough to admit you don’t have all the answers. And that’s a real sign of strength. It means you’re trying to deal with uncomfortable emotions. It also means you’re willing to be vulnerable.

Fake It Till You Make It

You must be the person you have never had the courage to be.

Faking it does not mean that you’re doing anything dishonest or disreputable. All it means is that you’re camouflaging your insecurities rather than advertising them to the world. Though you’re feeling fearful, you do not share that with everyone. Instead, you present yourself as you want to be seen.

View Challenges as Opportunities

A comet is born in the outer realms of the universe!

Taking on such challenges is an important part of growing and developing as a person. The more we can test our limits and capabilities, the more we will learn about ourselves. New challenges are opportunities for us.

I found these tips highly-beneficial and motivating. Before joining the Amal Fellowship, I wasn’t much confident and used to under-estimate my potential. It is Amal that filled me with positive energy and reinstated my self-belief.

I’ve learned that “Always believe in your abilities and potential and never let others demotivate you. YOU have to become your own support system!”

My favorite tip is “Self-Talk”. It basically enables you to dive deep into your mind and only by doing so, a person can encourage and motivate himself.

Yes, I’ve already started acting on these tips. Nowadays, I’m trying to develop growth mindset.

  • What can be done to develop a growth mindset?

A growth mindset can be developed by working with consistency i.e. “Kam, Kam, Kam” as persistency is the key to achieve the goals.
